If you want to copy a conversation for future reference, you can highlight the text in Instant Messenger panel by clicking and dragging with your mouse, then copy by pressing Ctrl + C on your keyboard. You can then paste this information into a program such as Notepad or Microsoft Word.
Conversations in the Instant Messenger are also saved in your Received box.
